Middle East University aims to enhance the quality of its outdoor events while reducing recurring rental expenses by investing in a professional sound system for its campus.
Enhancing Community Events
For many years, MEU has conducted graduation ceremonies on its beautiful campus, which always left positive impressions on parents, visitors, and other community members.
Due to the large open area on the campus lawn, MEU has always had to rent the
necessary equipment to run the event professionally. The most important of these has been an outdoor sound system. However, for the past few years, MEU has had to pay a significant sum of money to rent such equipment without getting the best quality in return.
The expensive rental amount has also been a deterrent to conducting a number of other
outdoor activities that can have great value to the MEU community and the nearby community as well.
Goals and Expected Outcomes
The project aims to achieve the following outcomes: enhanced quality of public events, increased community attendance, and a stronger professional image of the institution. It will also expand the institution’s capacity to host a variety of events, while enabling the efficient use of rental income to support other essential resources and operational needs.
Recognition Plan
MEU Administration will be more than happy to acknowledge donor contributions through several forms of recognition, including a plaque on the system, recognition at events, social media mentions, newsletter features, and website listings. The project budget is USD 17,000 (Seventeen Thousand US Dollars), as detailed in the attached budget.
